Welcome to Carriage House Pilates & Wellness! My name is Marlisa Groff Eyre, the founder and head teacher of CH. We are happy that you stopped by! Here’s a bit about me and how the Carriage House began.
With over 19 years of Pilates experience, I obtained comprehensive NCPT certification in 2013 and have continued my training with BASI, Tracey Mallett/Booty Barre, Quantum Pilates and Pilates for Rehabilitation.
Carriage House Pilates was born literally in my backyard, in a repurposed carriage house in 2013. Since then our studio business has grown to provide excellent Pilates instruction for all levels, including comprehensive training for Pilates instructors under the National Certification of Pilates Teacher standards. We relocated to our new studio home in 2018. With flooring milled by hand and a post and beam reformer room, we sought to bring the character, warmth and charm of our first carriage house to the new studio.
Beyond the studio, my husband (and hobby sawyer), Chris and I have 5 children, a son in law, and two grandchildren. In addition to pilates, I am passionate about prayer ministry and adoption/foster care. We are busy creating a full life and enjoying God’s goodness in all of life’s ups and downs.
I am excited to welcome you to the studio and I am honored to join you in your Pilates journey.
