Welcome to Carriage House Pilates and Wellness, LLC.   CH Pilates and Wellness began as a home studio, housed in a repurposed carriage house.  The name has taken on a life of its own, as each of our bodies is indeed, a carriage, needing to be kept fit for all of life's adventures and pursuits.  The genius and innovative work of Joseph Pilates is to us, the most effective and efficient way to establish fitness and balance in the remarkable carriage that is the human body.  His method, originally called "Contrology", literally means "the study of control."  It is with these solid principles and fundamentals that CH Pilates and Wellness exists, endeavoring to strengthen the mind-body connection while bringing beauty, creativity and art to fitness.  I hope you will join us!

Your experience at CH Pilates and Wellness should be as unique as your individual needs.  If you are just beginning Pilates or if you require modifications due to injury or following physical therapy, Private or Semi-Private sessions will support you in helping you to find the best way to safely get the most out of Pilates work on the various equipment.  Some of our clients are looking to learn the advanced repertoire of Pilates on the machines; private training will guarantee one-on-one attention while you learn the most challenging of Pilates exercises.  For many, small group classes (beginner, intermediate and advanced pace) attended several times a week will be the next best thing to private training, allowing plenty of attention regarding form and method in a fun and creative class setting. 
 We can't wait to get you started on your pilates journey at CH Pilates and Wellness!
